Bus Stop
The largest fleet of city buses in the world is found in New York City—4,373. Generally, a bus stops every two blocks making the bus trip tedious. The bus system serves routes not covered by the subway system: crosstown and outlying areas.
The buses also provide the main form of transportation for students, K-12, going to and from school.

M104
The M104 bus runs along 42nd and Broadway to Murray Hill in Harlem. The route began operation in 1885 using streetcars. Buses replaced streetcars on December 15, 1946.
